There are various strange items on the shelf, all in jars or glass containers. They include a moon in ether, a sun in formaldehyde, an ouroborus, a large tadpole, some spheres, what appears to be a brain, and (obscured by the glass globe the mathemagician is holding) some stars in an unknown solution.
